Our Koh Samet
Just 200 kilometers from Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand, the small T-shaped island of Ko Samet is famed for its white sandy beaches, exotic coral and crystal clear waters. The island is typified for its splendid beaches and white silky sand, surrounded by tropical coral reefs and crystal clear sea. Tourists can also enjoy fine fresh seafood. Some beaches are quiet and others have lots of restaurants and bars depending what you might want.
It's a popular tourist destination for Thais and foreigners alike. As Ko Samet is so near Bangkok (2.5 hours) and Pattaya (1 hour), the island is ideal for those in the capital wanting to chill-out for a couple of days, without having to go through all that rigmarole of having to travel down south.
Incorporated as part of the Khao Laem Ya National Park in 1981, it has great natural beauty, secluded beaches and a lush interior - home to exotic wildlife such as monkeys, hornbills, gibbons and spectacular butterflies...
We have been visiting Samet for 15 years, know it well and love the island, so would like to share it by offering packages to some good hotels. Usually a 3 night stay is enough for most but we can offer extended stays as well. Our packages include one of our cars (return) from either Bangkok or Pattaya, ferry to your resort and accommodation with breakfast. . |
